EVERYONE

WELCOME TO
REINHART RUNNING

My name is Michaela! I'm a former college XC and T&F athlete, and I'd love to be your running coach. I provide virtual coaching and support, including training plans, bi-weekly phone calls to check in, and availability via text and email for questions. My main goal: that you become more confident in yourself + have fun while doing so.

Welcome

ABOUT MY SERVICES

What You'll Get with Me

If you want a flexible, supportive running coach that will do everything in her power to help you reach your goals – I’m the person for you. I’m nothing if not a hype woman and I will be very invested in you and your success.

What I can do:

  • Write personalized, individual training plans to help you reach your goals – I typically write them 1 month at a time.

  • Update your training plan in real-time based on your feedback that you leave in the Google Sheet.

  • Supplement your training plan with details: strength routines, drills, stretches and mobility routines are all important for staying injury-free!

  • Be available via text or call to answer any questions.

  • Be very flexible as far as continuing / discontinuing your training: I will ask for compensation weekly, and you are never “locked in” to a training plan for a certain amount of time.

  • Help you pick out running shoes!

What I can’t do:

  • Attend runs or workouts in person. Due to my own schedule, I will unable to do this – but that is what the feedback system in the Google Sheet is for! I’ll still be able to update your training plan in real time.

    • If you sign up for a race or competition in the Louisville area, I would also absolutely love to attend, but cannot guarantee.

  • Take on more than 20 total clients.

Want to give me a try? Here's how!

  1. Fill out this Google Form with your name, meeting preference, phone number, and email.
    1. I’ll reach out to you within the next 48 hours and we’ll either arrange to grab coffee, go on a walk, or find a time for a Zoom / Teams meeting or phone call. This first meeting will be roughly an hour (or less if you are tight on time) – I just want to know more about you, where you are at with running and where you want to go. It’s a time for me to ask all of my questions so I can write the best possible plan, and a time for you to ask any and all questions as well. Having this meeting does NOT commit you to any sort of plan or payment - if you meet with me and then decide I’m not quite the right fit or you just don’t think it’s the right timing in life for you, no hard feelings at all.

    2. If you do decide you want to give me a try, we’ll pick a start date and I’ll write the first month of your training. It’s a simple system: I write the plan on Google Sheets, and share the document with you. This allows you to give feedback (how you felt on the run, if you thought it was too easy, if you couldn’t fit it in that day, etc.), and for me to see in real time how you are doing so that I can continuously adjust and update your plan (updated at least 2x per month).

    3. I ask that you give it a month – especially if you are just starting out, it can take a while for it to get into a rhythm. This is of course not a requirement. I will ask for compensation weekly, so if you get to the 3rd week and just find that you absolutely cannot continue, you can of course dip out – no hard feelings. But the coach in me will probably encourage you to continue for that first month!

RATES

My rate is $75 per month or $20 per week! The initial 1-hr consult is $10.

  1. As I mentioned in some other areas of this website, you are never “locked in” for any amount of time. I will just ask for compensation weekly.

  2. Even if you decide to pay monthly, if something happens where you cannot run for 1-2 weeks during that month, I will refund you the appropriate amount.

  3. Preferred payment method is Venmo, but I also take Zelle or PayPal.

  4. If you really, really want to give running a try and don’t know where to start, and feel like this rate is too high for you, just fill out the form. Maybe we can work something out that works for both of us!

  5. All profits: 50% goes to Coleman Preparatory Academy XC / T&F (the elementary school I am coaching); 25% goes to a savings account for my medical school tuition; 25% to my funds for daily life.

  6. My policy in general with this: transparency and communication.

TESTIMONIALS

John Reinhart

My name is John Reinhart and I’m a sophomore at Nc State. This past year me and my buddy Wyatt took on the crazy idea and adventure of completing a full Ironman race. Ironman Lake Placid. We had no idea what we were getting ourselves into, and it’s safe to say that without Michaela coaching us and giving us literally our everyday workout schedule at the beginning of each month, we probably would have either gotten ourselves extremely hurt or not been able to finish the race.  We did finish that race and both of us became an Ironman! I think what made Michaela such a great coach for us is that she is always making sure that we were doing it in the right way. I don’t think there is anyone else in the world I would trust more with running and how to better yourself in the sport than Michaela. She’s raced in the biggest collegiate races, and she’s had so many experiences that quite honestly very few ever get to have.  Most importantly you won’t find a person out there who has a bigger heart and cares more about you than she will. She’ll push you, listen to you, and make you the best runner you can possibly be.  She’s one of one. Just trust her.

Walker's Testimonial

I recently got into running and quickly found myself wanting to improve my performance. My overall goal was to increase my pace on longer runs, but I didn’t quite know where to start. That’s when Michaela stepped in. She took my goals and busy routine in mind when building me a series of workouts. They were easy to follow, adjust, and track using the outline she created. Within weeks, my split times became faster and more consistent. She even shared some great shoe recommendations, which was a bonus! I would gladly recommend Michaela for any of your running needs — she knows how to meet you where you are and elevate your game!

Wyatt Taylor

I’ve had the great pleasure of being introduced to Michaela through my good friend and John, who just so happens to be her brother! As John and I embarked on our Ironman (Triathlon) dreams, Michaela was there every step of the way. She planned out custom workouts for John and I, often having to tailor each one differently based on our individual needs, history and progression. Her unwavering support and energy is unmatched, and her passion for running is contagious. Her experience and expertise in the running discipline added an edge and confidence to not only us but our training as well. Thanks to her John and I were able to turn our goals into a reality.

Brett Schmieder

I began biking and running as part of a personal fitness goal, but no one told me how difficult it would be to start running without much experience. I struggled to decrease my mile time and increase my stamina. Knowing Michaela had run at Duke, I reached out for her guidance. She wrote me a personalized plan that helped me achieve my goals and consistently made herself available to answer my questions. She was open and nonjudgmental in her coaching, answering silly questions from how to warm up to how to breathe. Michaela helped build my confidence during my fitness journey and motivated me to achieve more. If you want to start running but do not know where to start, this is the place to be.
